Vehicle page update #4

Today’s update of the >vehicle page< adds some famous and popular vehicles to the existing list.

Among them there are two new airplanes: The Dornier Do-B Merkur, which set seven world records within a few days in the year 1926 thanks to the pilots Walter Mittelholzer and Georg Zinsmaier.

The Douglas DC-4 is a robust prop plane. Quite a few of them were converted for civil use after they served in the 2nd world war. Some are still in operation today.

In addition, the list newly contains high-speed trains from Europe and America. A highlight is definitely the Pioneer Zephyr, also known as Silver Streak. Made mostly out of stainless steel, the Zephyr is one of the first streamliner for passenger service and had a very futuristic look for that time.

Please visit the >vehicle page< to find out more about the new additions.

There are still a lot of vehicles we would like to present. Therefore please expect more vehicle page updates to come.

Finally, let us mention that we are blessed by the huge number of beta test applications we received so far! Registration is still possible until July 17 >here<.

Also, please note that we will release more developer blog videos in the near future.

  1. Maybe some flaying boats like Dornier Do X, or Short Sunderland, even H-4 Hercules?
Some ships with hydrofoil or hovercraft?
There are many transport tycoon games, need more special and diverse game ))

    • I’ve had the same problem – the solution was already posted by “wia” in the comments of the first vehicle List actualization:
“press ctrl+shift+r to reload full web page”
      Hope it helps!

  2. I think that third/fourth rail would be good so classic UK and European commuter and express trains can be realistically modelled.
Talking of the UK, more from UK trains please. The class 91 and HST are landmark locos, not to mention Rocket, Tornado, Flying Scotsman…the list is long.
The game looks good, and although I wont be buying it due to personal finance and performance issues, I very much look forward to seeing it soon.
I will once again put out my request for the new track tools to be implemented into Train Fever, for those like me who still want to play it.
All the best for the future and good luck.

  3. Things I would really like to see:
Fixed catenary on points/crossovers, with no magically floating wires.
Nameboards on stations that change when the station name is changed. (Not sure if a little hopeful!)
Smaller staions like halts and simple single-platform stations, like ‘https://www.transportfever.net/filebase/index.php/Entry/854-Bridesburg-station/’
Passenger footpaths like pedestrianised central areas. (That might be a little city-building like.)

I really hate it when I build a designated small tram road and it upgrades so peasants can use it. Grrrr.
