Rumo

Just thought I’d post to say congratulations on a great game! I loved Transport Tycoon back in the day, and Transport Fever brings back lots of nostalgia – and much more!
My only minor gripe is that sometimes it’s difficult to work out why trains are “waiting for a free route”. Even when I lay extra track to alleviate it, and by eye there is blatantly a free route – the train still sits there!

Completely hooked, really love it, and looking forward to further improvements!
Great job.

1) If you place the towns and cities, the game, when loading the first time, tries to connect all of them with roads. If it can’t, and error appears and loading is aborted. If the map is hilly, which happens with most realistic height maps, it is hard for the game to connect the tows and, thus, hard for the player to get one of them properly working, but, what is worst, what happens with cities in islands far from the main land? If Transport Fever has ships is for a reason, isn’t it? The connection constrain must be abolished or, at least, be made optional.
2) It is already possible to have a mod that allows the player to build industries once playing the game. To add cities in a similar fashion would be a very nice addition to the game.
3) Realistic maps ought to have rivers, and have the possibility to add them the same way that towns and factories can be added in custom maps. Even if ships weren’t allowed to sail in them, if that makes the feature easier to implement.

It might be because of the trains speed the production relies on demand and the ability of the infrastructure to transport the resource to raise or lower the production rate
