Thank you and happy holidays

We are reaching the end of a great year and wanted to say thanks to all of you. We wish you a happy holiday season and all the best for the coming year.

Thanks to your interest and feedback we were able to develop and release a series of Transport Fever patches in 2017, making the game better and better. Be assured we also listen to your opinion in 2018, and we try to further improve the game.

As announced already, we are currently working on a major performance patch. Better performance is one of the top wishes coming from the community and to reach this goal, quite some fundamental changes are needed. Anyway, we are confident to deliver this patch soon.

All the best from the whole Urban Games team and see you in 2018!

  1. Liebes UG-Team,

  3. – traffic lights (+settings tram/bus priority)
    – trams beside streets
    – free market prices of goods and resources (more deliveried goods, lower prices in city/industry)
    – adds attractive/comfort attribute to vehicles
    – unload only x% of cargo attribute on station
    – highways /express ways in cities
    – spatial planning in cities
    – fewer passengers in the later game or increase capacity of vehicles (less inhabitants is better for game performance) because 320 m trains per 0.5 min are not enough!

    • Oh we so need some of that stuff they need to hire a few more people to get content out a bit more often it needs a big dlc of some sort. For example all that stuff you listed and functioning in and out roadways on the map and improved boats and map generations and bring out official russian and british trains eventhough I love the workshop ones I would love some designs from them instead instead.

  5. I enjoy this game in South Korea, a small country in the far east. It’s a really interesting game. Thank you for your effort in patching performance. I’ll keep looking forward to it.

  6. Happy Holidays UG!

Glad to hear the performance is being worked on for the upcoming 2018 patch.

I have one for your suggestion box, regarding goods/services.

There is one type of service/good that is missing and sorely needed in TF – MAIL and EXPRESS.
Historically, mail was a major money-maker for the railroads. In the US, it dominated head-end traffic until the very end of mail service in the late sixties in the United States. A close friend remembers visiting his aunt in Battleboro, NC. They got mail delivered four times a day except Sundays. The express service was part of the mail business as well- you could ship something express and it would get their faster than today due to the passenger train schedules up until the mid 60s when passenger service faded.
I would love to see you guys include mail and express to the demand/supply structure of the game. Thanks for listening.

  7. It would be nice if trains would go to any platform instead of the platform signed tot it. Sometimes trains are waitin years tot fill up anf other trains are waitin behind them, messing up the entire line. I would also like to see that the city-demand would grow a lot more because some industries are having stockpiles of goods but they are not placed on the station….while the game tells me to ship or deliver more items while multiple trains do not get loaded.

So two things could be better…trains must use multiple platforms, and goods must be placed on a station instead of a platform so trains can pick it up from any platform. Those are things that are really frustrating.
