Final vehicle list

Today we have completed the Transport Fever >vehicle list<. In addition to a bunch of new locomotives, buses, trams and trucks, all cargo train cars have been added.

While the header image shows the European vehicles, the following image lists all American vehicles:

And, for the sake of completeness, here are all aircrafts and ships:

Transport Fever is shipped with 165 individual vehicles. They may look small on these images, but they feature quite a high level of detail, and we are very happy that we were able to realize this vehicle list as planned.

We understand that some of you want to see even more vehicles, also from other countries. For this reason, we made Transport Fever modding-friendly, and thanks to the Steam Workshop integration, sharing and installing additional vehicles requires only few mouse clicks!

At this point we also wanted to take the opportunity to express our gratitude to everyone who has already >pre-ordered Transport Fever<. It is a big motivation for us. And finally, as always, we very much look forward to your feedback and comments.

  1. I must admit, Transport Fever is the first ever game I’ve bought with my own money (all other games were either bought by my parents or friends). I’ve never been more excited for a game. I am still playing Train fever to continue to be excited for the release.
That being said, Urban Games and Gambitious entertainment have done a great job in producing these games. Ofcourse, there are minor setbacks in Train Fever but it was still entertaining for me. I definitely hope that Transport fever will not dissappoint me.
    KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

  2. So, I was wrong 2 weeks ago when I assumed we had seen all the vanilla vehicles. But I’m happy to be wrong 🙂

On April 11 Transport Fever was announced, with a release date in ‘the Fall’. In May Civilization VI was announced, with release date October 21. That’s when I agreed with my boss to cancel my summer holiday, and instead take 3 weeks vacation starting October 22, hoping that Transport Fever would also release during my changed holiday. Last week, when the release date was revealed to be November 8, my ‘gamble’ paid off. I’m now 2 days away from 2 weeks of Civilization VI, and then almost 1 week of Transport Fever.

And of course many more hours in Transport Fever after my vacation. Currently 534 hours in Train Fever, but I’m guessing I’ll play many more hours in Transport Fever!

  3. I’ve preordered the game because i’ve played a lot with Train Fever. It was a good game.
I seen that there is a lot of increases done on this extension of Train fever on cities, tracks, stations and others.
About the transport systems, except to the ship and flight transports, i’m just little disappointed about the poor development of new kind of transports. The majority of trains, trams and bus are the same than on Train Fever.
I hope that this time, you’ll continue to improve you’re game to finish it and that the main problems of the Train Fever game as been corrected (the lag of the game, the industry which was not really easy to develop, perhaps the possibility to do depots for trains …).
I wait a lot about this new version of Train Fever.
    Good luck for the team.

  4. The amount of vanilla vehicles is good although most of them coming from Train Fever. I hope the mod community will be as active as it was with Train Fever and produce high quality trains.

My concern still lies with the signaling system being used in Train Fever. It has been asked by numerous people including myself, yet it was never answered and beta footage shows thr same signals and waypoints being used from Train Fever, which are poor and ugly.
In Transport Fever the main means of transport will most likely be train sublemented with busses and trucks. A lot of detail has been put in the vehicles, the possibilities of road and track laying, Yet i see the same signals and buggy catenary being used from Train Fever in tr gameplay footage.

Will the same signals and catenary bring used from Train Fever?
Is it possible to let the signals “look ahead” several blocks to show yellow ot green, like the Netherlands and the UK which use really simple block based signaling system.

Could someone of the development please answer this, many people asked questions, yet no answer or FAQ answer. Thanks guys.

  5. Looks very good!
Anyway…I still hope, you can (will) made some DLCs with package of national (country) vehicles…something as 30pcs of vehicles (for example Czech 😉 , German, etc)…
This idea will allow you to earn additional money and for players allow to have more wanted vehicles without problems with compatibility…
THX in advance to consider this idea.

PS: Which vehicles players want you can find on Download area for mods in TF pages 😉

  6. Awsome! Guys, let those who pre-ordered Transport Fever access beta game similar to “early access”. 3 more weeks of waiting killing me. This would blow 99% fans and prob cause many other to pre-order game =)

  7. I do not think, that the trainset is ballnaced well. There are wagons for 100km/h and no locomotive for them for very long time. On the other side, in advanced game, there are locomotives for 160-200 km/h and no vagons for it.
Speed of freight vagons is another story…

    • If it is as easy to change the config files as i were in TF, i don’t think this will be a problem. Just tweak the numbers for yourself, besides, the workshop support will also help.

  8. I did not know the Train Fever, much less Transport Fever, I’m a fan of Cities In Motion 2, for a forum on the probability of leaving the CIM3, someone quoted Transport Fever placing the link of the game. Wow, man when I saw the design I was ecstatic, so he knew the pre-sale, bought immediately. Congratulations to the whole team and all the players who made this possible.

  10. Can we get any info about map sizes? Any difference compared to Train Fever? Max possible size?
Was map generation improved? Are there more options for number of rivers, lakes/water level, number of towns/industries? Starting the game with one town much bigger to simulate some sort of region capital?

  11. Excuse me for my English. I am from Russia.
In fact it is the resurrection of a game like Transport Tycoon. I’ve already pre-order and look forward to the release of this game. I want to say thanks to the developers, and we hope that you will enjoy plenty of DLC.

  12. After pre-oredering the game on SteamI I immediatly went into a state of: “vorfreude”(the joyful, intense anticipation that comes from imagining future pleasure). Can’t wait to just zoom in on a train station and be amazed by the details. Just like it was when i first played Train Fever.

16 days 12hrs and 5min before changing state to intense pleasure.

  13. Fantastic vehicle list, really looking forward to this game!

I doubt this will make it through, but can I make the suggestion that the Mallard should be at least as fast (if not more so) than the Flying Scotsman, since it was designed to run at 100 mph and achieved 125 mph as it’s world record speed.

  14. The thing I’m looking forward to most from the Steam workshop is some small modern aircraft. Not every modern air route requires a large jet airliner like a Boeing 757 or Airbus A320! Some smaller regional turboprops like the Bombardier Q series, ATRs or the old BAE Jetstream would bring more diversity to an in-game airline than just a fleet of A320s.

  15. nice 😀 This game is gonna get a lot of attention and sales. I love the design. it reminds me of OpenTTD.

hopefully you add more content in the future. that takes place in the future. from 2000-2200. or something that is distant future 🙂

  17. Complete bullshit – only 15% discount for buying an unfinished game then the developer deciding at random to roll updates into a new game #pirating from another shitty studio, not making the same mistake twice.

  19. Superb blog you have here but I was wanting to know if you knew of any message boards that cover the same topics talked about here?
I’d really like to be a part of online community where I can get comments from other experienced people that share the same interest.
If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Many thanks!

  20. What i do not realize is actually how you are now not actually much more well-preferred than you may be now.

content are running off the screen. Can somebody else please comment and let me know if this is happening to them as well?
This could be a issue with my browser because I’ve had this happen previously.
    Cheers
